The THOR Single Sensor is our new spearhead
“One for all” is FACT SYSTEMS’ idea behind the development of our THOR system. At its heart is our SINGLE SENSOR, which makes it possible for the first time to cover a wide range of applications with just one product. With just the smallest of adaptations, it is now possible to simplify the complexity of a laser-based FACT TRAINING SYSTEM to such an extent that our Single sensor is the perfect solution for 80 percent of applications.
We at FACT SYSTEMS have listened: in many conversations with special forces users who repeatedly emphasized how important it would be not to be impaired when wearing a sensor vest in their “control panel”—the tactical equipment.
And that is not so easy, as police officers and soldiers are increasingly equipped with tactical equipment. The Single sensor was therefore the logical consequence. We create FACTs with a system: the smallest dimensions, minimum weight and state-of-the-art swarm technology are our ingredients.
But FACT SYSTEMS go one step further. With the Single sensor, we not only want to replace the sensor vest, it can do much more. Innovative solutions turn the Single Sensor into a helmet unit, a wide variety of firing targets, a drone sensor kit and much more. This means that THOR can be used differently every day, as FACT SYSTEMS makes complex tasks incredibly simple and unbeatably efficient with this user-friendly solution.
Facts:
The Body Central Unit is the heart of the man worn system. It is in permanent radio communication with other components such as the Head Unit, Leg Unit and the Laser Units.
The Body Central Unit is like a carrying frame and fits perfectly on the body. It can be adjusted in size.
The Body Central Unit can be adapted to a Molle loop system. It can also be worn as a cover over all clothing.
Main features:
The Head Unit Helmet is in permanent radio communication with the Body Central Unit.
The Head Unit Helmet detects hits at a hit angle of 360 degrees. A hit is indicated by the LED on the Head Unit Helmet lighting up.
Main features:
The Leg Unit extends the user’s hit zones. It consists of two (left and right) individual and physically separate components.
The Leg Units are in permanent radio communication with the Body Central Unit. They are connected to the weapon belt/insertion belt/pant belt. Both Leg Units together form a 360 degree hit field. A hit is indicated by the LED’s on the Leg Unit lighting up.
Main features:
We use a special infrared laser and thus enable high precision and, in combination with our sensors of the receiver units, strong light insensitivity. The Laser Unit Rifle can be quickly and easily mounted on all long guns with Picatinny rail. The Laser Unit Rifle works with black rifles, blue rifles, gas softair rifles, electric softair rifles etc., with the additional use of the Manual Trigger even with plastic rifles. It is therefore possible to train almost cost-neutrally.
The sensitivity of the acoustic sensor is adjusted on the laser unit, the triggering of the laser is optimally adapted to the respective weapon system used (black weapons, blue weapons, gas softair weapons, electric softair weapons etc.). Various extensions of the acoustic sensor are available to place the sensor as close as possible to the sound source if required.
Due to the range of up to 1000m, precision shooters can also be included in an exercise/training.
Of course, our rifle laser unit is certified as Laser Class 1 and does not require any additional protective equipment such as is required when using paint marking ammunition.
Main features:
The Multipurpose Target is used individually. It can be attached to static as well as moving objects, vehicles, etc. and used for training purposes in the range from static to dynamic shooting. It has a standard Velcro fastener on the entire back.
Main features:
By integrating the IPSC target, challenging courses are also possible, which professionals as well as less experienced people can approach safely. The target can also be incorporated into training/exercise in CQB, on open terrain or for educational purposes of any kind.
Main features:
The Wall Target is a roll-up target that enables fast and efficient basic shooting training. The Wall target has 3 programmes:
Programme 1: Target shooting Multiple shots.
Each hit is indicated by a single LED (different colours). Up to 3 exactly identical hits in the same place are clearly visible to the shooter.
Programme 2: Target shooting single shot
The hit is indicated by a green LED. The target circle is displayed in red.
Programme 3: Reaction shooting
The target creates segments on its own. While the segment is lit up it can be shot at.
Main features:
The TANOS AR15 training weapon is operated by gas and is therefore almost cost-neutral. The TANOS AR15 is perfectly matched to our system. It can also be combined with other training systems or used autonomously.
The TANOS AR15 simulates a shot acoustically (bang) as well as optically (muzzle flash). All manipulations on the weapon are identical to those of the black rifle. The magazines are electronically ammunitioned and their number is adjusted during firing and loading.
The weapon systems do not contain any aiming device. They have Picatinny rails on which the aiming device is mounted.
Main features:
The TANOS Ammo Box is used for the calibre .50 (or similar) weapon systems. It is operated by gas and is therefore almost cost-neutral. The Ammo Box is perfectly matched to our system, but can also be combined with other training systems or used autonomously.
With the Ammo Box, a shot is simulated acoustically (bang). The shot is fired by a trigger manualy, mounted directly at the weapon trigger.
Main features:
Can be combined with all common MILES systems
Training to quickly and accurately shoot down a drone is an invaluable skill in the event of a drone attack. With our Drone Defense Simulation System (DDSS), you can perfect this crucial defensive technique, ensuring immediate and decisive action when quick response times are critical.

Facts:
The base station is a command & control unit and is in radio communication with the systems. It receives the live data of all events (hits, neutralisations, number of shots fired, friendly fire, etc.) during a training session, makes them available and evaluates them. The data is displayed directly on the tablet and/or screen. The Base Station also enables a standard AAR (“after action review”) with individual evaluation of individuals and groups/formations.
The FACT range is fully functional even without a command & control unit.
